After remembering Kelly Rowland’s 2011 hot single “Motivation”, it was by far her top selling and most memorable single over her other singles for that year. Her new single just released called “Ice” featuring Lil Wayne has more of a laid back vibe to it. The talented R&B singer has a new album soon coming in 2012 and definitely excited about it. Ms. Rowland states, “It’s for my ladies. I’m making this album for the ladies. But the beats are so cold. There are beats that guys will be like, What in the world? ….It’s very sexy”.

After listening to the track I like what I heard but I felt Lil Wayne came harder on “Motivation”. I’m just saying! Maybe some fans may have a different opinion. I can’t wait to hear her up-coming album with talented writing collaborations from Sean Garrett, Kevin Cossom, Amber “Se7en” Streeter, Lonny Bereal, Nikeshia Briscoe, Eric Bellinger, Redd Stylez, Rodney Jerkins, The Runners, Eric Hudson, and Rico Love. I believe she choose some great writers.
Ms. Rowland had more positive things to say about her album project stating, “One thing that inspired me is when I went to Hitsville, U.S.A. and I heard Berry Gordy say, on one of the presentations that they had, that people love to hear stories. People love to hear storytelling at its finest. That’s what I wanted to do. I brought all the writers in. I had all the concepts written down of what I wanted to talk about”. I believe Kelly has come a long way in expressing her creative musical side, and with no doubt she’s ready to bring her sexy and sultry voice back to the ears of her fans.
