When one door closes another opens because Rihanna was too raunchy for Nivea skin care products but is loved in ner native Barbados. Stefan Heidenreich, the new head of Nivea’s parent firm, Beiersdorf, tells German media…  ‘The advert starring Rihanna was a no go. I do not understand how Nivea can be brought into association with Rihanna.’ Rihanna was recently dropped as the face Nivea skin care because of her raunchy image but she just signed a three year deal to promote tourism in the Barbados.  RiRi’s campaign is expected to launch in September, just in time for the winter tourist season.
