Lupe Fiasco has always had a conscience rap but he answers that very question in this song. I am sure this will bring controversy but Lupe is on point in this and I am glad he made it. FINALLY! I was told lastnight by a hiphop fan (not lover) that he “brought hiphop back to life with this song.” I of course argued. Hiphop never died it was just pushed under the rug or I would like to think back underground. But Lupe is doing what hiphop has always done…. told the truth!
