23-year-old Chance the Rapper is going to have a good night at the 2017 Grammys. The young rapper just won his first ever Grammy, for Best New Artist. And it is certainly well-deserved. “No Problem” also won for Best Rap Performance, so that is his second Grammy for the evening. He’s nominated for some more awards tonight. Let’s see if he wins.
“Glory be to God. I claim the victory in the name of the Lord,” Chance said after accepting his award for best new artist.
“I just want to say thank you to my team for being here. (Expletive) this is crazy. Thank God for this. Damn, I’m shaking, this is crazy. Thank you everybody for supporting me… I love my family, I love God and I love music. Thank you guys,” Chance said after accepting his award for “No Problem.”
