I’m still waiting for this practical joke to be over, but Donald Trump is still a thing. And he’s still running for president. And there seems to be a video of Donald Trump that’s making the rounds on the internet – going after fellow Republican presidential nominee Jeb Bush on the topic of immigration.
In this video, Jeb Bush is shown in a 2014 interview stating that illegal immigration is “not a felony” but rather an “act of love.” The video has pictures of 3 men who were in the country illegally and have been charged or convicted in killings.
The Trump campaign’s short video in response to this, posted on Instagram, concludes with block letters on a black screen saying: “Forget love. It’s time to get tough.” Shots fired.
“While Donald Trump was still supporting liberal, soft-on-crime politicians, Jeb Bush accumulated an eight-year record of cracking down on violent criminals as governor of Florida,” Bush campaign spokeswoman Kristy Campbell said in a statement.
Here’s the question. Would you rather have Trump or another Bush in the White House?
