"Empire" Is TV Program Of The Year At TCA Awards

Empire just continues its winning streak. Not only does it have a big set of stars showing up for the 2nd season, it just won TV Program of the Year at this years TCA Awards ceremony.

Hip-hop drama Empire earned the top honor at the Television Critics Association’s 31st annual TCA Awards Saturday evening. The Lee Daniels/Danny Strong Fox drama was up front in the nominations with 4 TCA Awards nods, beating out Amazon’s Transparent, AMC’s Mad Men, HBO’s Game of Thrones and FX’s Americans for the coveted TV Program of the Year award. How ’bout that?
