NFL Star Marcell Dareus Birthday Bash
This weekend, Birmingham came out to celebrate Buffalo Bills Player Marcell Dareus for his twenty-seventh birthday bash. R&B Singer Tank & Comedian JJ Williamson (Def Comedy Jam) were among those spotted at the posh event.
The scene was the Vault Bar & Lounge located in downtown Birmingham. Around midnight, police escorted Marcell Dareus and his entourage to his private section of the club. Fans screamed and reached in his direction, hoping for a chance to touch or capture a photograph with their hometown hero.

The world knows Marcell Dareus as a kickass defensive tackle, but the people of Birmingham know him for his philanthropy. Dareus continues to use his fortune to improve the lives of those around him, since going pro in 2011.
Marcell Dareus has a big heart when it comes to humanitarian efforts. Dareus donated a six figure check to help restore a Birmingham park he played in as a kid. Most recently, the NFL star joined other celebs in sharing their wealth on an international forefront. Dareus recently donated a substantial amount of money to the Hope for Haiti organization. Hope for Haiti prides themselves on helping families in Haiti. Dareus toured Haiti to visit the local schools, hospitals and orphanages.
State of Georgia Representative Erica Thomas announced during the birthday bash that Marcell received a proclamation signed by the Governor of Georgia. The proclamation recognized Marcell for his philanthropic service. With the help of Vonna Hicks, the Marcell was invited to State of Georgia Capital to meet with the Governor and other legislature. Inside sources stated that State Capital honored the incredible NFL star with a Marcell Dareus Day.
