Well the trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice debut last year, and kinda set the internet ablaze…mostly because it got a lot of mixed reactions. Some loved it. Some just liked it. Some people even hated it. Their problems specifically included the introduction of Doomsday in the trailer, and the characters overall look. Zack Snyder recently shared some words with The Daily Beast, and assured fans that the character will be interesting.
“Well, you have Doomsday, right? He doesn’t just crawl out of the ground. He has his own mythology, right? So that has to be explored. To us it really made sense to give Doomsday to the audience now. I really wanted to make the audience a promise that… though I’m super excited and happy and fulfilled by the conflict of Batman and Superman, there’s also a bigger world to start to think about.”
“The DCEU roadmap is constantly evolving, but we’re starting to get a handle on where we’re going with the world. That’s fun because it allows us now to be driving toward a goal that we don’t have to make up as much. The rules can be the rules, and the movie can exist in a closed universe… it allows us to tie things together. If there’s a movie over here doing this, and we’re over here doing this, now we’re all on the same page.”

“It allows for a coherent universe, which is important. I think that makes the experience a little more satisfying because we know where we’re going, so the misdirects can be stronger and the reveals can be bigger.”
Following his titanic struggle against General Zod, Metropolis has been razed to the ground and Superman is the most controversial figure in the world. While for many he is still an emblem of hope, a growing number of people consider him a threat to humanity, seeking justice for the chaos he has brought to Earth.
As far as Bruce Wayne is concerned, Superman is clearly a danger to society. He fears for the future of the world with such a reckless power left ungoverned, and so he dons his mask and cape to right Superman’s wrongs.
The rivalry between them is furious, fuelled by bitterness and vengeance, and nothing can dissuade them from waging this war. However, a dark new threat arises in the form of a third man: one who has a power greater than either of them to endanger the world and cause total destruction.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theaters on March 25, 2016.
